Data Engineer (Special Projects)
We are seeking a motivated Junior Data Engineer to join our team. This role focuses on Google BigQuery and related Google Cloud Platform (GCP) services.
Key Responsibilities:
Assist in developing, maintaining, and optimizing data pipelines in Google BigQuery.
Write and tune SQL queries and python script for data extraction, transformation, and loading (ETL/ELT).
Support integration of data from multiple sources into the data warehouse.
Ensure data accuracy, consistency, and quality across pipelines.
Support reporting and analytics teams by providing clean and well-structured datasets.
Help monitor, troubleshoot, and optimize BigQuery jobs and data workflows.
Document processes, queries, and workflows for internal and external use.
Requirements:
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science/ Data Analytics/ Engineering or related field.
Proficient in Python, Pandas, SQL, Microsoft Excel, Google Big Query.
Basic knowledge of data modeling concepts.
Willingness to learn and adapt in a fast-paced environment.
Fresh graduates are welcome; 1–2 years of relevant experience is a plus.
Fluency in Mandarin is a plus point.
