Learning & Capability Development Executive
Join our HR team as a L&CD Executive, supporting TNA, managing HRD Corp claims and driving training initiatives that strengthen retail capability and performance.
Training Needs Analysis (TNA)
Coordinate and conduct annual and ad-hoc Training Needs Analysis (TNA) in collaboration with department heads and stakeholders.
Consolidate TNA inputs and translate them into a structured annual training plan aligned with business objectives.
Analyze skills gaps, competency requirements and development priorities across departments.
Track and review training effectiveness to ensure identified needs are addressed.
Learning & Development Operations
Plan, coordinate and administer internal and external training programs (technical, functional, leadership, and soft skills).
Liaise with training providers, consultants and internal trainers to ensure quality and relevance of programs.
Manage training logistics including scheduling, nominations, attendance tracking, materials and post-training evaluations.
Maintain accurate training records, reports, and documentation.
HRDC / HRD Corp Management
Manage end-to-end HRD Corp processes including grant applications, claims submissions and reimbursements.
Ensure all training activities comply with HRD Corp guidelines, policies and audit requirements.
Coordinate with finance and payroll teams on levy payments, claims reconciliation and supporting documentation.
Stay updated on HRD Corp circulars, policy changes and funding schemes and advise management accordingly.
Training Evaluation & Reporting
Conduct post-training evaluations (reaction, learning and effectiveness) and prepare summary reports.
Monitor training participation, cost and ROI where applicable.
Prepare periodic L&D reports for management, including training hours, HRDC utilization and KPI tracking.
Stakeholder Engagement & Support
Work closely with line managers and employees to promote a learning culture.
Provide guidance to employees on training opportunities and development pathways.
Support HR initiatives related to talent development, succession planning and competency frameworks.
Continuous Improvement
Recommend improvements to L&D processes, systems and policies.
Support digital learning initiatives such as e-learning platforms or learning management systems (LMS), where applicable.
Keep abreast of learning trends, best practices and regulatory updates in Malaysia.
